Children play, injured woman shooting at

Police said a man fired several shots at the children playing on the front page of Omaha home Wednesday afternoon, injuring a woman inside.

The suspect was walking West on Gazza101 Street near 44 Avenue about 3: 40 pm when there is some kind of Exchange with a group of children. He continued walking West about a block further when he turned around and fired five or six images in children before running vehicles waiting.

The police helicopter was called in search of the suspect, who also hit a House with gunfire. Sixty-six-year-old Monetha Smith is in his house when he was struck on the arm. Smith was taken to the Creighton University Medical Center in serious condition. The wound was not life threatening.

"This is kind of an eye opener because as I said, the kids who are just in front of the House playing and he just end up walking by," said Police Lieutenant Omaha Mark Matuza. "What we know, he has just finished shooting in children and there is a house full of people."

14-Year-old boy who ran from his arm pain when suspects fled. He was taken to the CUMC for review.

ON film: new Film captures the anxiety, doubt and paranoia

St. Louis Jewish Book Festival began November 6, in the center of the Jewish community, where Helene and Carl Sherman met on the eve of teens 50 years ago. Sherman share how they met the Beacon St. Louis St. Louis Jewish Book Festival and, in echo of local author Ariel Sabar. Movie Review: Ultimate Jurassic Park Trilogy (Blu

In the late eighties and early nineties, the community found a very real possibility of cloning. Before this time, cloning is the stuff of science fiction. The idea that we can create an exact copy of a person or animal that has inspired some of the stories are wonderful and scary. With the release of a book by author Michael Crichton, though, we all have come to believe that there could be even a cool application of this science. What if we find dinosaur DNA from mosquitoes preserved in the fossil tree resin? And what if we were somehow able to harvest that DNA? Actual dinosaurs roamed the Earth could once again? Crichton himself inspired by the real time science.
