In the late eighties and early nineties, the community found a very real possibility of cloning. Before this time, cloning is the stuff of science fiction. The idea that we can create an exact copy of a person or animal that has inspired some of the stories are wonderful and scary. With the release of a book by author Michael Crichton, though, we all have come to believe that there could be even a cool application of this science. What if we find dinosaur DNA from mosquitoes preserved in the fossil tree resin? And what if we were somehow able to harvest that DNA? Actual dinosaurs roamed the Earth could once again? Crichton himself inspired by the real time science.
